CCTV/CATV INTEGRATIONS

How many times have we been watching a movie and the doorbell rings? The first thing out of your mouth is “who the heck is that?” Now we can tell. We are going to lay out the “perfect” scenario, which rarely happens.

We have a door strike cut into the door, we have a Viking unit tied into the CATV and phone lines, a camera at the doors, and the portable phone next to us while watching a movie and eating popcorn. All the sudden the phone starts to ring because someone is at the front door. The front door camera pops up on the screen and now we can see who it is. We answer the phone, and speak to our friend Jim, then we dial the digit 6 on the phone to buzz them into house and here comes Jim into the living room to hang out for a while.
