In order to secure your home or facility, access control is the way to go! Today’s systems are so technologically advanced there is almost no end to the amount of doors and integrations possible. Doors are the most common entrance for someone who is intending on gaining unauthorized or illegal entrance to somewhere. Whether it is an “inside job”, or just someone who has been paying attention to the comings and goings of employees or resident’s, doors are the one common denominator. As a landlord or building manager, the leading cause of destruction or personal harm is the company or tenant who “buzzes” people into the facility without first identifying them or their intentions.

Integrations

Our access control systems are easily combined with other panels for the purpose of monitoring other items. The access systems have what is called door status. The system actually will tell you if a door is open or closed by a set of magnetic contacts just like a burglar alarm system. What we do is tie the burglar alarm into the access system, so that if a door is open to long, which could be a potential theft, the access system will send a signal to the burglar alarm, which will then dial out to the central station as an alarm even though your alarm is off. Another common integration is tying a low voltage lighting system in to the panel, so if someone trips the request to exit motion detector, it sends a signal to the panel, which sends a signal to the lighting system for all of the lights to activate. This is most useful when we have a CCTV system installed and monitoring a facility.

Networking

Our systems are fully networkable. After loading the software on the server, you can access the system from anywhere in the network, as well as over the internet from anywhere in the world. From here, you can release any door, or do any programming for cards, doors, or administration. The LAN (Local Area Network) module or card is the integration from the panel to the network. This is most useful for multiple sites, with multiple doors, but only one person controlling the system.
